What is a Zelit?
Zelit are a 100% robotic species.
Zelits are advanced AI that learns from their surroundings to adapt and conquer alien worlds. Zelits were created by a race known simply as the ‘founders’ to terraform planets all over the Universe. They were designed to enslave and conquer other alien races, as well as to adapt planets’ ecosystem and environment to the ideal conditions for the Founders Colonies. Originally Zelits were only programs with the ability to feel fear and a drive to survive to limit the amount of damage each unit would sustain, thus making them a hardy race that was hard to destroy/stop.
Core
one of a kind symbol made of pure light that rests within a Zelits Chest.. These Cores can be pulled out of one's body and stored while its unit is being repaired...However, a tech must be very careful on its removal due to Cores themselves are similar to a pane of glass that is as thin as a figure nail and as equally as fragile

Core can be as simple as a circle, an icon or shape, or even a small image.. (however we ask that it be easily recognizable)

Contrary to popular beliefs, Zelits are not actually the unit itself but the core. The core is a one of kind storage and battery device, along with housing important data that the Zelit has collected over its lifetime
Zelits Weapon
Each Zelit has a one-of-a-kind weapon that is an extension of their mind and body, A Zelits weapon and core are pure expressions of a Zelits true self... Due to this some weapons don't actually match the units designs but the core of the Zelit

Zelits Weapons don't actually need to be weapons, they can be: instruments, utensils, and even pens or paintbrushes.. the Weapon can be pretty much any object within reason

The core is also where Zelits stores their signature weapon. This is a weapon that holds great emotional significance to its Zelit. Though it is incredibly rare for the design of a weapon, this may occur after a Zelit survives an event of great trauma that has changed them in some way.

Zelits have 4 major subspecies, these include Drones, Omega's, Delta's, and Alpha's. Each one of these subspecies has a unique structure in the overall hierarchy of the Zelits fleet.
